As a recent Architecture Graduate, I have delved into an exploration of theoretical and narrated architecture. With focus on intersecting surreal and historic interests, I value the field of architecture as much in its artistic and experimental endeavors as its practical undertaking. It has become a ground for inquiry, keeping a strong philosophy of ‘Architecture that speaks to the living and lives through time’. My most recent research has led me to question methods of inhabitation, co-existence of nature and human, sustenance, and historic/vernacular practices. I find fascination in urban conditions, studying cities for their spatial and voidal attributes through time.
I believe in the non-singularity of this field, indulging it with other disciplines like film, writing and art. Capturing moments through these media, I have begun to understand architecture for its holistic senses. I have been fortunate to experiment throughout my degree and continue through bringing it into practice.
I wish to communicate the vastness of this discipline through my work and inherit a deeper knowledge and understanding as I grow in this field.
